Program Details

This isn’t a hostel. It’s a living, breathing tribe.
No jobs. No bills. Just a free shared stay in a hidden loft outside Kota Kinabalu — built for real backpackers who live loose, connect deep, and carry the vibe with them.

The setup is simple: floor beds, strong Wi-Fi, fans, a shared kitchen, and a chill zone with books, music, and cushions.
But the soul of this place? That’s you.

No staff. No schedule. No bullshit.
This is a canvas — paint something, start a jam, host a morning stretch, swap secrets over drinks, or just melt into the madness. Every traveler adds their own flavor, and every night writes a different story.

Some nights are mellow. Some are wild.
Everything here is built on respect, consent, and raw, honest presence.

Backpackers only — no tourists, no locals.
If you're looking for something real, wild, and off-grid — this is your tribe’s call.

Activities & Shift

✅ Activities & Shifts
🕒 Hours per week: 0
🗓️ Days off: Every day
📋 Type of help: None required — this is not a work exchange.

✨ What You Can Do (Totally Optional):
These are voluntary, guest-led activities that shape the vibe. Nothing is assigned — it’s all about contribution through presence, creativity, and freedom.

🎨 Add to the Walls:
Paint, write, or leave your mark. The walls are open to travelers who want to express something wild, beautiful, or honest.

📖 Contribute to the Library:
Leave a book, start a travel journal, or host a casual book swap.

🧘 Host a Session:
Lead yoga, art, meditation, language swaps, or movement sessions — anything you feel like sharing.

🎶 Start the Night:
Bring your music. Mix a drink. Start a jam. You set the tone for the evening — sometimes it’s chill, sometimes it gets loud.

🍳 Group Meals (Optional):
Cook together, share food, or spark a spontaneous feast. Nothing fancy — just good vibes and shared plates.

🧼 Respect the Space:
Clean up after yourself, take care of each other, and keep the vibe good for everyone. That’s the only “duty.”

Rules

Backpackers Only
This is a travelers-only space. No locals, no tourists, no outsiders — just people living the road.

No Work, No Bosses
No tasks required. Just be responsible for yourself and respectful to the space.

Respect Consent & Boundaries
This is a free and open space — but only with mutual respect and consent. No pressure. No judgment. No means no.

Clean What You Use
Shared living means shared responsibility. Clean up after yourself in the kitchen, shower, and common areas.

Bring Energy, Not Ego
Loud, wild, or quiet — all vibes are welcome. Just don’t kill the collective flow. No drama, no control freaks.

The Space is Yours to Shape
Add art, organize something, make it better. The walls are open. The vibe is community-built.

Drinking Allowed, Disrespect Isn’t
Party is fine. Alcohol is fine. Being wasted and annoying is not. Know your limits.

Noise is Okay – Until It’s Not
Music, late nights, and fun are part of the culture. But if someone needs rest, listen and balance the vibe.

Safety First, Always
Lock up your stuff. Respect personal belongings. If anything feels off, tell someone — we protect each other here.

If You Don’t Fit the Energy, You’ll Be Asked to Leave
This place runs on trust, not rules. If your presence harms the space, we’ll kindly ask you to move on.

Leave a Mark (Literally)
Draw on the wall, write on the mirror, hang something weird. Leave behind something only other backpackers would understand.

Clothing Optional... Kind of
Wear what you want. Or don’t. Just don’t make it weird.

No Phones After Midnight (Optional)
Unless you’re playing music or filming something unforgettable — talk to people, not screens.

Consent is Sexy, Cleaning is Hot, Sharing Snacks is Divine
Live by those three commandments, and you’ll thrive here.
