I had a great time at the hostel, which is in the best location of Istanbul by far. The responsibilities of the volunteer are respectable and not too demanding. As with any volunteering position, the experience is made by the other people who are there the same time as you. I got extremely lucky becoming close with the amazing social media volunteer. Burak was friendly and a great help to me when I needed assistance. The lodging was also very comfortable, although I did have to spend the first ten days in the dorm (on the top floor). All in all I had a wonderful time and am grateful for the month:)

The hostel felt like a home away from home. Staff, neighbors of the hostel, guests, and, of course, old boy soda 🐕made this experience one of the best ones of my life. The people I have met and the memories I have made will always stay inside my heart. The tasks aren't that complicated or tiring, that's why I completely suggest you to apply for this volunteering project!

The hostel was a really cool spot to explore Istanbul and meet lots of new people. The work wasn't exactly what I expected, just in the sense that it was very chill and slow majority of the time. However, there was plenty to do and experience in the area. I would definitely recommend the hostel and hope to revisit in the future

I loved my time at the hostel! I spent a lot of time in the garden discussing with other travelers and volunteers. Our shifts of 6h were usually shorter so we had a lot of time to discover the city and the neighborhood which is really nice. You will not be alone at the hostel as there is usually people in the garden or in the hostel. Also, Burak is a very good manager and is flexible if you want to ask for favors!

The location was ideal, with easy access to everything, which allowed me to experience so much of what Istanbul has to offer. I left with wonderful memories and would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the city!

I had the best time at the hostel! It's the perfect place for volunteers, as there's a great sense of community with both volunteers and hostel guests, and it's located in the best area of Istanbul (Kadiköy). I highly recommend this position. Thank you Burak and Ilker for choosing me as a volunteer and making sure we all had such an amazing experience in Istanbul.

The hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. The manager, Burak, helped me get acclimated and gave me freedom to create unique event offerings for the guests and staff. I felt supported every step of the way. I'm sad to be leaving such a wonderful team.

I would totally recommend volunteering at the hostel. The work is easy, the accommodation is nice, and the events organized on a daily basis enable you to connect with other travelers. The staff and volunteers were super nice and welcoming. I'm so thankful for all the people from around the world that I got to meet here. Sounds cheesy, but in these past five weeks, I have truly learned a lot, in so many ways. This was my first volunteering experience and my first time in Turkey. Grateful that it got to be at the hostel in Istanbul.

Volunteering at the hostel was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I only planned to stay for one month, but within two weeks I knew that wouldn't be enough. The staff and volunteers were incredibly kind and welcoming, and our manager Burak was flexible and supportive. The work was fun and light, and there was always someone to explore the city with. Kadıköy became one of my favorite neighborhoods. the hostel felt like home, and I'll never forget it. Thank you for an amazing first Worldpackers experience. I hope to return soon <3 Ask ChatGPT
