I really enjoyed my time staying with Cornelia! She is a very welcoming and fun host and made me feel very comfortable in her home :) The workload is very manageable and enjoyable if you are looking for a cozy farmstay, this is the place to be. I learned a lot about agriculture and had lots of amusing philosophical discussions. The only thing is that this farm is located pretty remotely, so the days off couldn`t really be used to travel/ explore, except for the stunning forests nearby :)

The month on this farm was an absolute enrichment. Cornelia is an incredibly open, honest and approachable person. You learn an incredible amount about animals and nature. In particular, you are shown how to handle animals properly. I had a great time with beautiful surroundings and animals who love to cuddle. 🤗It is 100% recommendable.😊

I can't think of a better way to start traveling with Worldpackers than on this farm. Cornelia made me feel at home and I had the opportunity to gain a realistic insight into life with so many animals. Besides the daily tasks, there was always enough time to discover the beautiful nature either by bike or on a walk with the dog, to cook together or just spend time with the animals. I am very grateful for this experience!

I enjoyed my stay here very very much. Cornelia made me feel so comfortable and we connected quickly, and Jan was always very friendly and polite to me. The farm is quite remote, but with bus or one of their bikes, its still easy to get to the nearby cities. The working hours were flexible, and there was absolutely no pressure if one needed a break. Apart from the many things to do, there were even more things to do for fun, like kayaking, training the horses, cuddling many many animals, going for hikes, swimming, and more. I'm hoping to visit again some day.

I have just left the farm, my month here was amazing. The farm, house and area around are very beautiful and there is a lot to do in your spare time. The work on the farm was varied and interesting, including hay making, looking after the vegetable garden and animals… The hosts, Cornelia and Jan, were very nice and always apreciate your help.

All in all, I had a great time. The hosts are very kind and the area around the farm is really beautiful. The work was diverse and included cleaning up manure, building fences or looking after Peter. Only the stated working hours of 25 per week were never retained and I worked mostly around 40-45 hours per week which was just too much for me and my expectations.

One thing about working hours: I expect of a worldpacker that he or she wants to share my life, which means that I don't put up a working plan with work hours and free time, but that I never exploit anyone and force him or her to work either. You can always say that you need a rest, which Victoria did far more often than all other volunteers I had until now. You do many things in the course of a day, like doing the dishes or joining in when I prepare food. Would you count that as work? Everyone would do such things also at home for themselves. So as a worldpacker at my place I want you to expect that you become a part of my family, not a worker.
