What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 13 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers’ fee goes to the host families’ house to cover the expenses of the stay like, three meals per day breakfast, lunch and dinner, and other daily utilities. A part of this fund is used in assisting organization’s projects like raising awareness for vulnerable children. It’s recommended this fee to be paid upfront at the start of the project as it fosters budget accuracy and reinforcing the commitment for volunteers.

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Program Details

Join Hope Haven Childcare's vital initiative in Chamazi Village! We are seeking dedicated volunteers to participate in the construction of a brand-new daycare center. This project will create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for vulnerable young children in the community, providing them with essential early childhood education and care. Volunteers will contribute directly to building the physical infrastructure, including tasks such as construction tasks relevant to the project, e.g., bricklaying, mixing cement, painting, carpentry, landscaping. Your skills and efforts will have a tangible and lasting impact, laying the foundation for a brighter future for the children of Chamazi. Activities & Shift

Contribute to Hope Haven Childcare's new daycare build in Chamazi! Volunteers engage in construction activities bricklaying, painting, and landscaping across flexible shifts of 5-6 hours a day between morning and afternoon Make a tangible impact on children's futures.

Safety: Follow all safety rules. Wear PPE. Report hazards/injuries. Know first aid. Inform of health issues. No substance use.

Work: Be punctual. Commit to tasks. Follow instructions. Work as a team. Use resources responsibly. Take scheduled breaks. Communicate absences.

Child Protection: Child safety is priority. Follow interaction guidelines. Report any concerns immediately.

General: Respect property. Keep work area clean. Secure belongings. Offer feedback. Ask permission for photos/videos.
