This place is full of women power πŸ’₯ I recommend this volunteer 100%, the staff is really nice and friendly, they took care of me and were very flexible in every situation, and so was me. So glad to had the chance to live this experience! I met a loooot of people and friends, don't miss this opportunity! The dorm was good, just for volunteers, with A/C and many laughs with each other. Bathrooms are clean and you can find lots of street food around the area. I will come back, for sure! Thanks all 🫢🏽

It is a great experience to meet people from all over the world, you share a room with other volunteers, the hostel is always willing to listen to you and incorporate suggestions, the place is located in the Phra Nakhon district, there is a lot of life around, restaurants, temples, markets, 10 min walk from Khao San road, but the accommodation is quiet. We did the bicycle tour and it is very interesting if you like riding bike, get to know the district, different attractions and interact with the guests. You can use the kitchen, the laundry and the place is generally clean.

The hostel, Lana and Eddie were amazing hosts. They make it worth any help provided! They were very friendly, funny, and easy-going πŸ™ My volunteer work was clear and easy. Working as a barista while interacting with so many international people was a wonderful experience! πŸ™Œ They have big projects for the next volunteers! Don't miss them 😁

Great experience at the hostel. They're a new host in the WP platform, so tasks and schedules are still being defined and adapted. But they have shown at every moment and situation to be flexible, understanding and communicative about it. Really enjoyed my time here, able at all times to interact and make plans with the guests, expending time on the dispensary/bar. Khao San road is just 5 min walk from there, which made possible to go there for some drinks any day of the week when I felt like it. Fully recommended if you want to experience Bangkok as a volunteer for some days!!

The hostel was a great volunteering experience for my first one. The team of volunteers and staff made the 2 weeks really enjoyable, with the hours of work vs time off and the location being perfect to still have to get out and explore all Bangkok has to offer. The hostel itself isn't a party hostel but the staff, volunteers do their best to bring out the social aspect of it which can be super immersive and fun on nights out. I look forward to returning again soon I hope.

The day I arrived I had a meeting with the owner about what was expected of me and the other volunteers. I applied for the barista position in the first place but was put entirely on social media without asking (first we agreed it would be 50/50 barista, social media). During the meeting I felt insanely uncomfortable the whole time, as there were asked things of me to post on their social media that I definitely wasn't going to do. We were asked to show ourselves as much as possible in all ways so we'd attract a lot of views. This made me SO uncomfortable that I decided to leave right away.

Oh replied

We did offer you other positions where you did not have to show yourself in our content, or take part in our events team instead however you never declined, furthermore we we are always very open minded allowing our worldpackers to be able to transition to different roles during their stay with us.

The staff at the hostel are lovely! Lana, who manages the volunteering team, is fantastic. For Social media activities, she and the hostel ensured that the photoshoots of the rooms, facilities, and events were communicated in advance and scheduled on a calendar. In general, Social Media level of organization is high level there. Even when plans changed, communication was smooth, and Lana provided all the support I needed for the tasks. It was also incredible to be part of a multitalented team of volunteers with a collaborative mindset.

It was really fun staying at the hostel! The employees are a bunch of amazing people, I'm so glad I could meet them!! The task as social media volunteer is so fun as well, and the Manager the hostel is so sweet and amazing to work with!! Two things that could be improved: 1. when I arrived I didn't really get an introduction, so I didn't know what to do, or who the other volunteers or my manager were. So I had a kinda tough start and needed some time to ease into it. 2. the volunteer rooms are not great, the mattresses are quite used, it's not very clean, and there are no curtains I'd come back tho
