Program Details

The chef creates daily lunch and dinner with the help of other volunteers. You are also responsible for shopping for groceries and keeping the kitchen tidy and clean (also with help from volunteers, of course). Part of your job is to check dietary requests (vegan, lactose-free, etc.) and make sure everyone is catered for.

Activities & Shift

You work six days a week, prepare 6 lunches and 6 dinners (twice a week we have "prepare your own lunch2go" so no cooking required, those are usually the shopping days) - meals have different duration (pasta night is quite a quick one, but the BBQ is pretty long) so on average you work around 5 hours per day. You get 10 Euro per working day on top of accomodation, 3 meals and free booze at our open bar.
