The experience

As a volunteer at our UK retreat, you’ll help maintain a peaceful, healing space through tasks like gardening and general upkeep:

Hel the centre with the odd handy work and garden work such as lawn mowing, trimming, weeding,

Light maintenance and repairs (fixing doors, painting, basic DIY)

Helping in the garden or with outdoor upkeep

Assisting with general cleaning or setting up spaces for guests

30 hrs p/week - 5 or 6 days per week


What you offer

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

In exchange for your help, we will provide you with 3 home-cooked vegetarian meals per day, with accomodation in one of our shared rooms, plus the option to participate in the yoga classes and additional evening activities like sound healing, yoga nidra, and wisdom talks with our expert yoga teachers. You will also have the chance to learn about mindfuless practices, Ayurveda and Buddhist philosophy. We sometimes have a Buddhist monk who comes and stays on site!


Rules

In order to maintain a calm and healing space for everyone at the retreat, the use of alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on site. Smoking is allowed but is to be done so outside of the property.
