🌱 About Our Farm:
Our garden is home to over 2,000 trees 🌳, a variety of vegetables πŸ₯¦, mushrooms πŸ„, and farm animals. We also operate a small dormitory for around 16 teenagers and have a team of 6 dedicated staff members living and working on-site.
Volunteers start the day with breakfast, then move on to gardening and animal care tasks β€” always guided and supported by our team. Responsibilities are shared and rotated, so you’ll have the chance to learn a lot and get involved in different areas.
πŸ‘« Afternoon Fun & Impact:
When the teens return from school, volunteers are invited to spend time with them in a relaxed, informal setting. It's a great chance to exchange cultures, build connections, and make a positive impact. πŸ’¬πŸŒβ€οΈ

Activities & Shift

✨ Volunteer Responsibilities:
πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎπŸ“πŸŒ½
Assist with caring for trees, plants, and animals (including pigs, chickens, ducks, and fish)
Help with seasonal tasks assigned by Rain Tree staff
Support daily maintenance work across the farm (watering, fertilizing, weeding, caring for veggie beds and mushrooms)
In the afternoons, engage with the teenagers in the dormitory (ages 13–18) β€” help with homework, teach basic English or computer skills, or organize fun activities πŸŽ¨πŸ“šπŸ’»

Most tasks will be carried out alongside our staff. Responsibilities will be shared and rotated as needed, allowing volunteers to engage in a variety of activities based on daily requirements and team coordination. Some tasks will be solely independent.

In the evening, when the children return from school, volunteers are welcome to spend time with them. This may include helping with homework, teaching English, or offering basic computer lessons. These interactions are informal and flexible, providing opportunities for cultural exchange and meaningful connection.

Rules

Volunteers will be provided with private accommodation located within the farm and close to the dormitory area. You’ll be part of a warm and welcoming community where your help truly makes a difference. Smoking and drinking alcohol are strictly prohibited within the accommodation area. As there are children living nearby, maintaining a safe and positive environment is essential. Volunteers are expected to set a good example and uphold behavior that reflects responsibility and respect for the community.
