I'll definitely miss the occasional head pats from the home's parents. The rest of the family's warm welcome. And the uncaptured moments of eating together on the floor. Eating together on the ground is usually only done with friends and families while guests are invited to eat at the table. So it was so humbling to be later on invited to eat together like I was part of the family. Such a shame to leave so soon.

I absolutely loved my stay with the home and her family in a village in DakLak province. It was a real opportunity for me to learn more about life in Vietnam. We had some wonderful moments of sharing on different subjects, from the funniest to the most profound. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to live the Vietnamese way and meet beautiful people ☺️

I spent 2 weeks at the home's where she and her family warmly welcomed us. the home is an extremely human and kind person, very determined to want to have a positive impact on society and with whom we can openly discuss Vietnamese culture, its history, its vision and in exchange, talk about our culture where she shows great interest. It's quite comforting to be surrounded by nature where we eat fruits and vegetables that are grown by the locals or directly from the home's the home and then eat local food. A very good opportunity for those who travel to Vietnam and wish to connect with the locals and nature.

My time with the home and her family was brilliant, very welcoming from the moment I arrived. I was well fed here especially by her parents. There is a very good balance between work and downtime as there is plenty of time to relax during the day. The day trips and visits to local street food vendors or to coffee shops around the village allow you to have interactions with locals in a region which doesn't get much tourism while learning about the area. Would recommend!

This was a great experience. the home has great English skills and is incredibly kind. This was a great way to learn about local culture, as expected, but it was also fascinating hearing about the home's knowledge of plants and philosophy on living. The more you put into something, the more you get out of it, and that is definitely the case here too! Be curious, open-minded, and take the initiative on activities, and it will surely be a fulfilling experience for whoever decides to pay the home a visit!

It was amazing staying with the home and her family! They made sure everyone was comfortable and well fed. Through this experience, I learned much about sustainable agriculture and ways to implement such practices into larger scale communities. The volunteer work was very manageable and left a lot of free time, which allowed me to interact with and learn more about Vietnamese culture. Overall, an incredibly wonderful stay and a perfect opportunity to slow down and appreciate the small things in life!

I spent a week here and it was an amazing experience. the home and her family are very welcoming and I always felt at ease. I loved learning about sustainability and all the different fruits, vegetables, plants, and their health benefits which the home was really knowledgeable on. Through this experience I got to know Vietnamese culture, cuisine, and customs way beyond what you learn through travelling the touristic route. The volunteer work itself was easy, which makes it a perfect experience for someone interested in cultural exchange and slowing down.

I spent 4 weeks here with my friend mark and shared an amazing time together. I had plenty of time to relax as well as explore the area, experience breath taking nature and meet local people who were super welcoming. I loved learning about the culture and approaching a different take on life, far from that which I am used too. I now have a lovely family in vietnam and memories i'll never be able to forget.

My experience with the home will be one that I remember for the rest of my life. the home and her family were all so welcoming, it really became like a home. We learned so much about Vietnam and the way of vietnamese life. We got involved with nature, the food, and locals. The locals in village were all so warm and welcoming as well, it was great. I would recommend the experience here to everyone who is willing to come. the home was also very nice and funny to spend time with, I never felt uncomfortable to be there.

Spending 5 days at the home's family was amazing. i could live, eat and go around like a local and experience a part of Vietnam that is not on the main touristic routes. the home is extremely welcoming, warm and has a lot to share, be it about her project of a new homestay, about plants, Vietnam or her life. If you are looking for a cultural exchange with not much work to be done this is the right experience for you. You can slow down and enjoy nature. On the other hand, if you look for a more intense volunteering experience, with fixed tasks and hours, this might not be the experience for you.
