It was great! Nao is a lovely woman, her English is great and volunteering was a pleasure. I was there for 2 weeks and I: taught English in a local school twice, built a bamboo fence, hosted pizza night, learnt traditional Thai ways to plaster and repaint things such as her pizza oven and one of her dogs homes (essentially learned many new skills) There are lots of hammocks so you can relax on the hours you're not working and she has some adorable dogs on site too. Her mum and dad cook every meal themselves, it's great food, big portions, and you get to try many new things.

Olivia has a great laugh on things. She has very light heart and easy to be around. She could try hard for any task she got assign or volunteer to do. It was nice to see her enjoying cross out the task here on the board and start the new one. She was enjoy to learn to plant tomatoes, paint the new pizza oven, plaster the Dog home. And also made pizza for all of us on Friday night. It was nice to have her laugh around for 2 weeks here.

Nao and her family do an amazing job of making you feel at home. Living quarters are comfy and the food is incredible. You are guaranteed to eat well here! It's an amazing opportunity to give back and make a lasting impact for the local community, I really enjoyed getting to know the other volunteers here as well. I highly recommend and will likely visit again.

As my first time with Worldpackers, as well as my first trip outside of the U.S. this was a great experience. I was looking for a local feel, out in the country, to really be encompassed in the Thai lifestyle while making a positive impact in the community, and that's exactly what I found at Nao's Filmfarmschool. It was a warm welcome to a great group of volunteers, as well as a family setting. Nao was very accommodating in every aspect, and her mother makes great food for every meal! I volunteered as a carpenter and have no complaints about the work. 10/10 would recommend/ volunteer again.

If you're looking for a place to really connect with local families and also help support the future learning of the children, this is absolutely the place for you. Being with Nao and her family was such an amazing experience. From trips to the closest town to experience the market, to just being out in nature relaxing on the hammock. You will be not only well fed but well nourished mentally. The food that her mom makes will be the best food you've had in Thailand. There are lots of opportunities for you to contribute. Building, gardening, teaching, planning. Recommend 100%

My 3 weeks at FilmFarmSchool were much more than I expected for my first volunteering experience. Nao was incredibly welcoming and the perfect bridge between us and Thai culture. She has many ongoing community-oriented projects that have a real impact. I was especially impressed by the fact that each of us could contribute using the skills we knew best. Market visits, hikes, local buffets and Thai massages were just some of the activities that made my stay even more enjoyable. Last but not least, I have to mention the extremely tasty food prepared by Nao's mom, you will eat well!

I loved my two weeks stay!! Nao is adapting tasks for each volunteer so I surprisingly got to use my civil engineer skills together with the architect and carpenter volunteers designing and building a school and land almost from scratch. We also had a fun play day with the kids after their exams. Despite flooding challenges, it always felt very safe and cosy. The biggest challenge was trying not eat too well of mum's food. Nao brought us to massage, landrover trip, markets, buffet, cafes, yoga and more. She's an open, trusting, chill, funny and inspiring power woman. I recommend highly!

This was definitely one of the most memorable experiences of my life! It was my first time volunteering with Worldpackers, and I'm so glad I chose to come to Film Farm School. I thought I was going to share something with the kids, but in the end, I was the one who received so much and felt healed by their pure, kind souls. I always felt welcomed, both at the house and the school, which made me feel comfortable all the time. There was also plenty of free time for relaxing, playing with the dogs, and enjoying my hobbies. If you're looking for a place to start your new journey, this is the one!

I feel so blessed to have had an opportunity to help now is mission and creating a community that merges growth and sustainability. She is one of the most amazing people I've ever met along with her extremely caring and thoughtful family, you truly get a local experience while being able to be a part of something so amazing. I gained many skills in adoptability, communication, and overall knowledge. I was able to tap into my creativity while helping Nao wherever I could. She makes the experience that much better by making an effort to show you local sights & go venture on your own. :)
