The experience

Our organic family farm in southern Piedmont grows vineyards, hazelnuts, and vegetables, certified by ICEA since 2001. We follow permaculture principles and aim for self-sufficiency. We mainly produce organic wine and hazelnuts. From March to October, we need help with farming tasks, creating a food forest, and a sensory garden. We speak English well!

Program Details

We have been working this land with passion since 2000, following the principles of permaculture to live in harmony with nature and, wherever possible, to achieve self-sufficiency.

Our main production is organic wine, followed by hazelnuts. We also have a small vegetable garden and orchard. The products from these, along with the wild harvest from the fields and woods (e.g., edible herbs, flowers, aromatic plants, wild fruits), are used internally or processed.

The farm also operates as an agriturismo, offering accommodation and homemade cuisine.

Activities & Shift

Activities are flexible, as is typical on a farm. Sometimes help is needed in the restaurant as well, and we don't have fixed working hours. We are looking for someone who wants to learn more about Italian culture, gardening, harvesting, and life in the countryside.

Rules

We do not accept smokers, dogs, or children.
