Reception and general help in Guadalajara

The experience

Hi, we are open to have volunteers in our lovely Hostel, that is located in the heart of the city center of Guadalajara, close to nice and beautiful places to visit and enjoy the city. We ask for 20hrs of help in exchange of help with reception and general housekeeping tasks in a Hostel.

You will have a bed in a staff room. The schedule changes every week and you can choose your days off.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

3 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 20 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We welcome volunteers as a friend that we work together to give and outstanding service to our guests in the hostel, we can discus the tasks to be developed and we can come into an agreement that fit for us all.
