The experience

I recently acquired a beautiful sailboat here in Guadeloupe 🇬🇵. While she’s in great shape structurally, she could use some love to shine again! I’m looking for a helpful and hands-on traveler to assist with basic cleaning, scrubbing, and light painting. Nothing complicated — just elbow grease and a positive vibe 💪🧽.
I am only staying in Guadeloupe until she is ready to sail, after that the offer remains, but in Martinique or further south.

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

4 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Intermediate French or Intermediate English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

This is a laid-back opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and being near the sea 🌊. You’ll help me clean, scrub, and do minor painting jobs around the boat — mostly exterior work to freshen up the aesthetics. You’ll get to live the boat life, learn a bit about sailing, and soak in the natural beauty of Guadeloupe. No technical experience is required, just a proactive spirit and a willingness to get a bit messy! 🎨🧹
