The experience

Join our family in a peaceful village and help us harvest melons & kiwis in the mornings. 🥝 After that, enjoy your afternoons by the beach, forest, or river, with tasty meals, horseback rides, and (if you stay at least 2 weeks) a free trip to the island of Samothraki! 🏝️

What you offer

22 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We open our home during the melon and kiwi harvest season for volunteers who want to experience Greek rural life in a meaningful way. You’ll be part of our daily routines and family meals 🍽️, sharing laughs, stories, and traditions.

Each morning, you’ll help on the farm for a few hours, then the day is yours to explore or relax. From horseback rides to island adventures, there’s always something beautiful waiting to be discovered 🐎🏞️

Activities & Shift

🕒 Morning Tasks (7 or 8am –12 PM):

Harvesting melons & kiwis 🍈🥝

Cleaning, sorting & packing fruits into crates

Watering or occasional light gardening 🌱

⏰ You’ll work 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week. The schedule is flexible based on your energy and the weather. Afternoons are free to enjoy nature, explore local villages, or rest in the sun ☀️
