The experience

We're looking for a friendly and proactive volunteer to assist at the reception and restaurant—welcoming guests, supporting service, and helping create a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

Great for people who love hospitality and meeting new faces.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Fluent English

Between 20 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Answering phone calls (English is essential)
Check in/out
Issue invoices / Receive payments
Respond to booking.com emails and reviews
Help with cleaning and F&B
Serving breakfast
Taking orders and serve drinks

Activities & Shift

Morning shift: 07:00-15:00

Evening shift: 15:00-23:00

We work with 4 days on shift and 3 days off
Other schedules can be created/changed to supply the hostel's needs

Rules

We attach great importance to CUSTOMER satisfaction.

We do not tolerate disrespect for hostel rules, customers, and colleagues!

Failure to comply could lead to expulsion from the hostel!

At the hostel:

- No alcoholic beverages during the shift

- Respect colleagues and the orders from the hostel crew;

- Hours of service - Be punctual and a uniform is mandatory.

- On days off, wear presentable clothes, you are free to roam around and make new friends and connect with anyone
