Join our local daycare center in Makumira, Arusha!
We’re looking for volunteers to help with fun indoor activities, games, drawing, writing, and lunchtime support with kids aged 3 to 6 🎨✏️🍲

We offer breakfast, lunch, pickup service, and a clean, safe place to stay with a comfy bed and Wi-Fi 🛏️📶

What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Fluent English

Between 22 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Volunteering takes place Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. You’ll spend your mornings supporting and engaging with children in a fun and caring environment 💛

Activities & Shift

You'll be assisting a local teacher in the classroom with:

🎨 Drawing and creative activities

✏️ Helping kids practice writing

🤸‍♀️ Playing games and simple sports

🍽️ Assisting during lunch (feeding and organizing)

It’s a joyful and interactive space where your presence truly makes a difference!
