What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 120 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: This contribution helps support the development of Little Lions School, including basic classroom resources, meals for the children, and school maintenance. A portion of the fee is also used to support local cultural and community activities for volunteers, such as guided visits, traditional cooking classes, or local experiences to enrich your stay in Kenya.


What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Between 18 and 80 years old

Rules

1. Respect and Kindness First
Treat all children, staff, and fellow volunteers with kindness, patience, and respect at all times.


2. Be Punctual and Reliable
Arrive on time and be consistent in attendance. Notify the coordinator in advance if you are unable to attend.


3. Stay Engaged
Be present, focused, and actively involved during activities. Avoid distractions like unnecessary phone use.


4. Follow School Procedures
Adhere to all school rules, safety guidelines, and instructions given by staff or the volunteer coordinator.


5. Keep Information Private
Respect the privacy of children and staff. Do not share photos or personal information without permission.


6. Maintain Professional Conduct
Use appropriate language, avoid favoritism, and ensure all physical interactions with children are respectful and appropriate.


7. Be a Positive Role Model
Demonstrate good behavior, leadership, and a cooperative attitude that children can learn from.


8. Ask When in Doubt
Always seek clarification from staff when you're unsure about a task or how to handle a situation.


9. Support, Don’t Control
Assist and encourage children rather than taking over tasks. Promote independence and confidence.


10. Uphold Cleanliness and Order
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment before, during, and after activities.
