We need awesome volunteers to help keep bedrooms fresh & cozy + give laundry some love 🧺💛 Your touch makes our shelter feel like home—safe, clean & welcoming. If you’re into good vibes, neat spaces & spreading joy, come join us and help our place shine bright! 🌟🏡

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Beginner Spanish

Over 20 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

🕖 7:30 – Good Morning Breakfast
We start the day all together around the table—yummy food, good vibes, and energy for the day! 🥐☕

🕙 10:00 – Shift Starts
Time to team up and make our shelter shine! ✨

🕚 11:00 – Lunch Break
Refuel, chat, and recharge 🍝💬

🏡 Your Mission
We’ve got 6 bedrooms (26 beds total), each with its own bathroom. You’ll help with:
•. Undoing and making the beds 🛏️
•. Cleaning bathrooms & rooms 🧽
• Making the washings 🧺
• Hanging sheets 🌞
• Folding them with love & care 😅💛

We keep going until the day’s work is done—then it’s chill time knowing you made our shelter feel like home for everyone. 🌟

Activities & Shift

🛏️ Sleeping Arrangements
• Girls have a cozy room for 3 👭
• If you don’t mind sharing, there’s also a mixed dorm for 6 🌍✨

🚌 How to Get to Rifugio Lausen
• From Verona train station, take bus 117 or 115 to Velo Veronese (check Google Maps for the timetable). ⏱️ It takes about 1h 20min.
• Don’t worry—we’ll pick you up at the bus stop and drive you just 5 minutes to the shelter 🚗💨

🌄 Worth it!
The shelter isn’t far from the city, but at 1200m altitude, the views and peace you’ll find up here are totally worth it. Trust us, you’ll love it! ✨
