The experience
St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation is looking for volunteers to help manage ongoing projects in Ghana, to develop strategies, administration, events management, fieldwork and fundraising/marketing, proposal and grant writing, IT, reports etc. We often having the challenges to run our programs and to raise funds from international donors to support and empower communities.
What you offer

Description:
Volunteers' fees cover accommodation, 3 meals daily, airport pickup, orientation, visa support letter, pre-departure information pack, donation to project, in-country supervision & support by project staff, utility bills, certificate upon project completion, reference letter upon request.

You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Your experience volunteering with SMWEF will not only allow you to positively impact the world but will also help you have the opportunity to become fully immersed in the Ghanaian culture. Currently, we have ongoing projects in underserved communities in Ghana and needs volunteers’ engagement and support from around the world to make a difference.
We need volunteers who can come up with results oriented solutions to social issues. We have the following volunteer opportunities for volunteers and interns in Ghana:
Marketing/Promotion
To be able to continue with our projects and come up with success stories with the local communities we work and engaged with them, we need volunteers who can promote SMWEF’s projects and new via appropriate channels to send our message across at a grassroot level.
Project Development
Project Development is the main focus work of SMWEF. This ensures community involvement and the sustainability of the projects that we implement. If you have the skills required to handle Project Management and Development in the fields of Construction, Child labor & Trafficking, Education etc.
Fundraising/Grant Writing
A lack of funding is a major challenge for many organizations in Africa who are providing support and empowering communities. SMWEF is seeking volunteers with experience in fundraising or writing grants to help us raise the needed fund to meet our project needs.
Activities & Shift
Volunteer wake up and breakfast time is 7:00-7:30 am.
Work start by 8 am.
Lunch break is 12:00-12:30pm
Closing period is 2pm.
There are other options which volunteer decide to help the children with homework and learn extra co-curricular activities like local games etc.
Dinner is usually around 5:00 pm-5:30pm.
We work from Monday to Friday in the week.
Weekends are free and volunteers have opportunity to visit tourist attractions like highest waterfall, monkey sanctuary, canopy walk among others within the country.
