If you want to do something out of your comfort zone, I recommend it. It can be a little bit difficult if you're used to the City life, you'll encounter challenges here and there, but it's an experience worth having. Have an Open mind. You'll have a good Detox here and make some friends as well if you're going at a time where other people are present. Emilio is a nice person and loves to communicate.

My stay at the project was awesome! i would 100% recommend it to anyone who loves to live off grid in the nature and love handy works as well as learning new skills. Emilio is a great host and very hardworking and i wish him the best for the future of his project and i hope to get the chance to go back one day:)

My experience at the project was great. I had the chance to be part of a lovely eco project in the middle of nature and besides, enjoy the island and go partying during the free time. I learnt a lot thanks to the host and besides, his flexibility and kindness allowed us to make lots of plans. Hope to see u again soon!

Emilio's finca is experience in exploring new cultures, community and nature, all while building friendship along the way. The finca is a little community in itself with people from all walks of life welcome, Emilio was warm and welcoming, giving an experience in working on a permaculture while still organising fun events like going to the beach, the local pool or festivals. Overall the experience was a pleasure and I'd recommend it to everyone.

I loved learning about Building & going to the beach and partying together during the time off (it's amazing if everyone gets into the mood to share). But it isn't for everyone - be prepared to live simply. Also, the project is a bit remote, so you won't really be able to do your own thing (to the beach by bus is ~1.5h ~7€/way). Be honest: if you truly want an off-the-grid and collaborative lifestyle, this can be enriching. But if you're looking for comfort or independence, or expect to be served, it may not be a fit. Would love to be back to see the updates at the finca, thanks Emilio!

My stay at the project met my expectations. It is a place surrounded by nature and the conditions are very simple, as you can expect. The tasks were pretty physical but it was rewarding to see the results of your own work. There is some room for improvement in the hosts communication for example when sharing information about other volunteers' arrival. In November there were only a couple other volunteers and the place is not ideal for spending time on your own if that happens to you. But overall the stay was a good experience and I got a change to make friends from all over the world :)

Thanks For your work Helmi! Sad to get only 4 Starts, taking in count that you:
-Arrived late to work between 1 and 1’5h everyday.
-Not follow the instructions.
-Don’t care about communication system.
-Took doble the time for simple tasks as other volunteers.
-Leave your trash on the land with out separating to recicle…
And and…
By the way:
-The land is 10min Walk to Village
-I send you a calendar with arrivals of volunteers.

Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora; me gusta la idea de hacer algo para la perpetuidad y sembrar árboles es una de ellas, un lugar con mucha tranquilidad cerca del vasco urbano, fácil de llegar; aunque Emmylio no estuvo en persona, siempre se mantuvo en contacto, pendiente de las actividades y de confort de los voluntarios!!

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa en la isla del proyeto. Emilio es estupendo y siempre está dispuesto ayudar y enseñar todo lo que él sabe. El lugar es muy bonito, rodeado de naturaleza. Las tareas a realizar son muy variadas y entretenidas., por lo que el día a día se hace muy ameno. Recomendaría mucho una experiencia en este lugar.
