I totally recommend this volunteering. It is a very quiet and peaceful place. As soon as you arrive you can feel it. About the work, it's a huge bulding and there are always different tasks to be done. Most likely they will allow you to try a bit of each one and they can be really easy.I was glad to try the meditation sessions, the contact with nature, the food they provide, and the contact with many different people every day. Everything! I truly enjoyed the experience and I made many friends there. I would definitely come back! PS. Bring some cash, especially coins for the washing machine.

A wonderful place to help out and meet new people, lovely location if a bit secluded. The people are all welcoming and friendly, and the food and accommodation is good. Good experience, and working in the cafe is very enjoyable.

I had such a great experience in Tara. Everybody is very kind, I felt welcomed and part of the team. The work schedule is very organized, they plan a week ahead so you can plan your own personal agenda ahead as well. They have checklists for the jobs, so you know what to do and what is expected. The jobs are demanding. On my Kitchen shifts I was always very busy along all 5 hours, and in the end you gonna need some rest, but I've learned a lot and it was a pleasure living in the center for 3 weeks. I hope I can come back in the future. Thank you everyone in Tara, you are all special souls ❤️

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it was truly amazing. Everyone was extremely kind and open. The other volunteers were from all over the world, they helped me to practise both english and spanish and they made my stay the Center is really big and if you want to learn about Buddhism you can attend the meditation classes, which are very intersting and useful also for everyday life. Thank you for everything, you'll always have a special place in my heart

My experience in Tara's the Center couldn't be better. The people I met there are so nice and made feel welcomed since first day; really respectful, understanding and open to listen to you; the place is beautiful, peaceful and chill where you can connect with the nature and yourself. Being there I could improve, share and learn new skills day by day, so I'm really grateful to have had the opportunity of being part of this experience. I'm glad and fulfilled. I could learn, pratice english and make friends. Most people are patient and help you. Meal - I'm not a vegan but I found the meals to be tasty. Sometimes they can be a little spicy. Routine - every Sunday you know the tasks for the week. The schedules are well defined and the activities are practical. Note: outside work can be cold in winter. But if you're used to it, no problem. Experience - every day there is meditation. Its wonderful. You develop your mental and spiritual health. I managed to recover some things about my authenticity and inner peace. Kind regards!

Tara the Center is a wonderful place, where you can really live an experience of harmony and connection with nature, with others and with your own being. The house is spacious and with everything you need for a comfortable stay, the place is surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees, the center is close to a small town where you can take a bus to larger cities. The work to be done in the community is easy and light, they are always aware of your well-being and tranquility. Volunteers can access various activities related to the center, which makes everything more enriching.
