The experience

We are currently welcoming volunteers to assist us with some of our rural public schools that are in need of help with the teaching of the English language. Our foreign volunteers will be sent to these schools to assist the Thai English teachers in their classrooms which can make a much needed positive impact on the lives of the students and their families. We invite you to come teach Basic English to our students from Kindergarten to 9th grade.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 7 Per day

Fee pays for: Donation to project

Description: We kindly ask for a $7 per day donation. This will help us cover some expenses for this project. We really appreciate your support!


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 60 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesnโ€™t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Thailand


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

We are looking for English speakers to help our students to learn English basic conversation and verbal communication. Volunteers will interact with students alone while the local teacher will be with you in the classroom in case you need any assistance. Prior teaching experience is a plus! This is a great opportunity for you to learn about Thai culture and language!


Activities & Shift

Typical day at school starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. You will spend 2 hours teaching in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. We ask you to be flexible should there be any changes too.


Rules

We can only host male volunteers
We expect volunteers will have the ability to acclimate themselves to the local customs and mentality. e.g. dress conservatively, avoid public displays of affection etc.
