Volunteer at Our Aussie Family Farm – Ride, Care & Explore!
Love animals and the outdoors? Come join our friendly family on a beautiful farm with 7 horses, sweet dogs and cats, and a mix of farm animals. We’re looking for a confident, animal-loving volunteer with intermediate to experienced riding skills.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Permaculture Course:
Take part in our Permaculture course for free.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English
Between 20 and 30 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Farm Life Volunteer Program – Live, Ride & Experience Australia
Join our unique volunteer program and become part of our warm-hearted family on a beautiful Aussie farm. Surrounded by nature, animals, and adventure, you’ll gain hands-on experience in farm life while caring for our beloved horses, dogs, cats, and other animals.
What You’ll Experience:
You’ll be involved in the daily care of our 7 horses and other animals, help around the house, and get the chance to improve your horsemanship. We specialize in endurance riding and are happy to teach you – no experience in endurance needed! Confident riders (intermediate to experienced) are welcome, and there’s even the possibility to join a local competition.
Activities & Shift
Volunteer Activities:
• Feeding and caring for horses, dogs, cats, and other farm animals
• Cleaning stables
• Grooming and brushing horses
• Assisting with light house chores
• Helping with meal preparation
• Participating in endurance riding training (no prior experience needed)
• Opportunity to join an endurance riding competition
• Exploring local Aussie activities
