The experience

We still have places available for the Spring Volunteer Programme from 3rd - 17th May. This will be an opportunity to come and join us as part of the community, living and working with community members.
Work ideas for this group include preparing our organic gardens for the season, helping to build a wild life pond and getting the place ready for us to host the Intercommunity's volleyball weekend later in June.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

We are looking for volunteers from 3rd - 17th May for our Spring volunteer Programme. This is an opportunity to find out what it is like to live in an intentional community, learn about our structure, how decisions are made and how we function!


Activities & Shift

Much of the work will be outside working as a group with community members doing gardening, wood processing, composting. We often arrange a few projects over the fortnight and this spring we are aiming to finish off making a pond.


Rules

No smoking in the house please!
You will be eating with the community and we only cook vegetarian/vegan community meals.
