Description:
The fee directly supports the ongoing operations and development of our new community-based project, our sole income source. Your vital contribution also covers your accommodation, meals, hands-on permaculture workshops with our farmers, and all related materials. Thank you for being part of our community's growth.
What you get

Activities & Shift

π Animal Care: Feeding sheep and poultry, helping improve animal shelters, and assisting with daily routines.
πΏ Orchard & Garden Work: Planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting seasonal fruits and vegetables.
π₯ Preserving the Harvest: Learning how to make homemade juices and pickles for the winter.
π οΈ General Farm Maintenance: Light tasks to help keep the farm tidy and running smoothly.
π‘ (Optional) Farm Improvements: Helping with basic construction or improvement projects if you're interested.
--What You Can Learn:
Traditional Azerbaijani farming techniques.
Animal care and basic veterinary skills.
Gardening skills: planting, watering, harvesting.
Traditional methods of food preservation.
Daily life and culture in rural Azerbaijan.
--Shifts:
We generally work in the mornings and evenings to avoid the hottest parts of the day. π
Expect about 5 hours of help per day on weekdays.
Work times are flexible and can be discussed upon arrival.
