As a growing organization, USEC is committed to building a strong internal foundation to increase its impact and sustainability. This program focuses on strengthening our organizational development and governance systems through strategic planning, policy development, role clarification, and improved documentation and compliance. By engaging a skilled volunteer, the program aims to enhance the organization's efficiency, accountability, and readiness for partnerships and funding opportunities.

Activities & Shift

The volunteer will support us in strengthening our organizational development and governance. Key activities include facilitating the development of a 3-year strategic plan, drafting internal policies (HR, finance, safeguarding), designing an organizational structure with clear roles, and supporting the setup of basic governance systems. The volunteer will also help establish simple documentation and filing systems, and provide guidance on compliance and legal readiness to enhance USEC’s operational efficiency and accountability.
