The experience

We’d love to have you join us on our farm! You’ll stay in the beautiful eco-lodges at Casa des Madeleines, surrounded by nature, and enjoy delicious organic, local, and plant-based meals. Help out with gardening, animal care, cleaning, bricolage, restaurant chores, maintenance, and even building a cabin. Plus, you’ll get to meet our chickens and our newest farm members—a mama goat and her baby!

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We will house you and feed you in exchange of a set of hands to help us with various chores. You'll enjoy delicious organic, local, and plant-based meals while immersing yourself in farm life.

Activities & Shift

Your help will be precious in various tasks like gardening, taking care of the animals, cleaning the lodges, bricolage, restaurant chores, and general maintenance of the place. We’re also putting together a cabin and would love an extra set of hands!

Rules

Welcome to the Casa des Madeleines farm!
Thank you for carefully reading the house rules. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Restaurant and Lounge Area
Access to the restaurant is only permitted when a staff member is present. The lounge is accessible, except during opening hours and/or when customers are present.
Natural Pool
The pool is reserved for guests, so you can enjoy it when no customers are around and with the staff's permission. Please follow hygiene rules (a shower is mandatory) before swimming. To ensure everyone gets a chance to use the site, please keep your swimming sessions short.
Your Space
You are invited to use your designated areas for your free time, especially in the evenings, to respect the peace and quiet of our customers. Thank you for keeping them clean. Please bring up your trash and empty containers to the restaurant area.
Animal Areas
We invite you to help us take care of the animals. Eggs are not self-service, but we will give you some as soon as we have them.
General Rules
Please respect common courtesy rules and limit noise. Help us keep the area clean and safe (put tools back in their place). When you're finished watering, please roll up the hoses to keep the garden accessible for customers.
Meals
Lunch will be shared in the restaurant starting at 1 p.m. For breakfast and dinner, a basket will be provided so you can prepare your meals in your own kitchen area.
