My stay at the hostel was positive overall. The environment suits volunteers who appreciate having their own privacy while still being part of the hostel's routine. The guest mix is quite varied, so building connections takes some initiative, but with a bit of effort you can create a small community. Tasks were clear and manageable, and communication with the staff was straightforward. A good choice if you want a quieter place with a balance between independence and some social interaction.

It was an amazing experience! It was my first trip as a volunteer, and it couldn't have gone any better! Alessandro is a wonderful person, from the very first moment, he made me feel welcome and turned this experience into something that will always have a place in my heart. As for the work, it's very flexible and relaxed, and Puerto de la Cruz is a truly lovely place, with so many areas to explore and lots of kind and friendly people I had the pleasure to meet!

My stay at the hostel was beautiful! I'll start by saying that the hostel is in the perfect area, right by the beach, surrounded by restaurants and bars, and it's always busy and lively. The facilities are super clean and tidy, the hostel is spacious and comfortable. Alessandro is the nicest most welcoming person ever and he will help u with anything and everything<3 the hours are super flexible and the job is basically having fun by organizing activities for guests. unfortunately I had to leave early for personal reasons, but I would definitely come back!

Volunteering at Atypical hostel was a wonderful and an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like family by both the staff and fellow volunteers. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and full of positive energy. The location was great and close to mostly everything. The tasks were fun and manageable ,a mix of reception duties, helping out with social events like game nights and dinners. It never felt overwhelming, and Alessandro (who's responsible of volunteering) is a really nice guy and will help you with everything you need while also giving you time to explore.

The experience I had was amazing. The hostel is in the north of Tenerife which is calmer, less touristy, more locals, which personally I preferred. The location is ideal, 15 min walk to the beach and 7 min walk to the supermarket. We were 4 volunteers which made the experience even better + we had Alessandro as our manager, who was super friendly and accommodating. The work is very simple, you have to do activities with the guests and sometimes stay at reception from 6-10:30pm, it's very easy and not stressful. The breakfast has many options and is only a 5 minute walk. Definitely recommend :)

Stayed in Tenerife and had an amazing time at this hostel. The location is perfect, right in the center, and the place is always clean and well looked after. The staff are super friendly and helpful, which really makes you feel at home. I was volunteering there, helping at the reception and organizing activities with the guests, and it was such a great experience! Always surrounded by people, having fun, socializing, and creating unforgettable moments. If you're looking for a central, clean, and welcoming place where you can meet amazing people and feel part of a community, I recommend it!!

I spent two amazing months volunteering at this hostel in Tenerife through Worldpackers. I signed for 1 month but kept extending my stay because I was having such a great time. I met people from all over the world, explored the island, hiked Teide, and enjoyed the parties and festivals in Las Américas. The work is light and fun but should be done seriously, and the team is always kind and helpful. Alessandro, who manages the volunteers, is flexible, supportive even if he is parting around, really fun to be around, always makes you feel at home from day one. Recommend if you want to explore.

The hostel is such a different and great experience! The hostel is great, many common areas and the hostel is just so futuristic. The offer an amazing breakfast everyday, Alessandro is such an amazing human, friend and leader. He helped me in everything from day 1! I highly recommend this hostel; Work is easy, flexible schedules and you meet people! Thanks for everything:)
