The experience

We're located in one of São Paulo's most iconic spots, Batman Beco, and we're looking for proactive people to help, especially during the night. The tasks are simple: monitor the space, welcome arriving guests, maintain organization, and assist with light cleaning. In exchange, we offer free accommodation and the opportunity to live in the heart of São Paulo's urban art and culture.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent Portuguese or Beginner English

Over 22 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We’re looking for engaged and proactive people to help during the night shift with simple tasks like welcoming guests, making sure everything is in order, and keeping the space safe.
Cleaning is light and only required two days a week — nothing too demanding. In exchange, you’ll get free accommodation and the chance to live an authentic experience in one of São Paulo’s most creative neighborhoods.

Activities & Shift

our role will be to ensure everything is in order in the space during the night. This includes:

Receiving and guiding guests who arrive late.
Monitoring and looking after the space, ensuring safety and comfort.
Assisting with small organizing and cleaning tasks, if necessary.
Answering guests' questions and maintaining a good atmosphere in the space.
