The experience

Our cozy village home, set in a forest-like area just outside Tirana, welcomes volunteers to help with daily chores and property projects. Tasks include housekeeping, gardening, pet care, and general assistance. Enjoy nature, a peaceful setting, and a friendly communal atmosphere. Private kitchen access and food supplies are provided for independent meals.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Italian

Between 20 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Volunteers will assist with daily tasks such as housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, pet care, gardening, and general house maintenance. We may also need a helping hand with different projects around the property. In exchange, we provide free accommodation in our self-converted van or our caravan, with privacy and personal space. Food supplies are provided, and volunteers cook for themselves. You'll also be part of a welcoming community with other volunteers working on various projects.

Accommodation & Facilities:

Volunteers are accommodated in a renovated van and a caravan. Bedding is provided, including pillows, duvets, covers, sheets, and blankets.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers help up to 5 hours a day. Tasks vary depending on the day, but our dogs are always on the property and need feeding. Schedules are flexible, with two days off per week arranged to fit our plans. Other projects may require different levels of physical work. Volunteers will be explained the projects on hand during the interview video call before final confirmation.

Rules

1. Keep common areas clean and respect the space.
2. The van is for assigned volunteers or us only; no other people are allowed to use or be
in the van. It must be treated with care.
3. Smoking is allowed outside only.
4. Drugs are strictly forbidden on the property.
5. Be respectful of other volunteers and maintain a positive atmosphere.
6. Please respect our schedule, as we rely on help to create time for
other tasks and projects.
