Program Details

We are a family of people from around the world. If you join us as a volunteer, you'll become part of that family. We eat together, laugh together, and work hard together.
Things are always changing - guests change their plans, something goes wrong with a tool, weather turns bad - so you need to be good with flexibility and adapting on the fly.
But this is not a high-stakes kitchen where stress is a main ingredient. Our kitchen feels calm, patient, loving, and healthy.

Activities & Shift

Each week we will look at the variety of retreats, dinners booked, cooking classes, and other food related activities for that week and together we will plan your schedule.
In some cases, you'll have a chance to do the work independently. In other cases, you'll be working directly with Meri, the head and heart of our kitchen.
While experience in a kitchen is very useful, a love for food and attention to detail is more important.
