Make an Impact: Volunteer in Community Development & Conservation
The experience
Volunteers will support community development, education, and conservation efforts, making a lasting impact through teaching, outreach, and sustainability projects. Tasks include mentoring children, organizing workshops, assisting in eco-friendly initiatives, and creating awareness content. We expect open-minded, adaptable individuals eager to engage with the community.
What you offer
18 hours of help per week
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Dedicated Workspace:
Specific space for you to work remotely
Requirements
Beginner English
Between 20 and 65 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Activities & Shift
The volunteer will support women by assisting in building and maintaining keyhole gardens, teaching sustainable gardening techniques, conducting educational workshops, troubleshooting issues, and empowering them with skills to improve food security and community resilience.
Rules
We shall share all our policies, processes and procedures with the prospective volunteers before they arrive or if possible have an online orientation meeting before they travel to our project. These may include code of conduct, health and safety policy. child protection policy, cultural sensitivity and respect policy, work expectations and responsibilities, Substance use and behavior policy, confidentiality and media policy, and any other policy as may be required by world packers or the prospective volunteer.
