What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 12 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers contribue per day towards the cost of food and lodging to further develop the organic farm.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcome to Chansawang FarmStay in Yasothon, Thailand! 🌾🌿

We invite travelers who are eager to experience authentic Thai farm life, sustainable agriculture, and cultural exchange in a peaceful rural setting. Our farm is a small, family-run organic farm dedicated to traditional Thai farming, permaculture, and self-sufficient living.

What We Expect from You

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers who are open to learning, working with nature, and embracing a simple yet fulfilling lifestyle. No prior farming experience is neededβ€”just a willingness to get your hands dirty and a positive attitude!

You will be expected to help with:

βœ… Cooking and learning Thai traditional recipes πŸ›
βœ… Helping with eco-building projects (bamboo & mud houses) 🏑
βœ… Assisting in herbal medicine preparation 🌿
βœ… Teaching English or creative activities to local children (optional)

We typically ask for 4-5 hours of help per day, 5 days a week, with flexibility based on the season and farm needs.

At Chansawang FarmStay, we follow a simple yet meaningful daily routine, combining work, learning, and cultural exchange. Our schedule is flexible depending on the season, weather, and farm needs

At Chansawang FarmStay, we want to create a warm, respectful, and enriching experience for all volunteers, our family, and the local community. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay, we ask all volunteers to follow these simple guidelines:

βœ… Respect the Farm & Community – Treat the farm, animals, and people with kindness and care. Be mindful of local customs and traditions.
βœ… Be Open-Minded & Willing to Learn – No prior experience is needed, but a positive attitude and teamwork spirit are essential.
βœ… Follow the Daily Routine – We expect volunteers to contribute about 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and be flexible based on farm needs.
βœ… Keep the Space Clean & Tidy – Maintain cleanliness in your accommodation and shared spaces. Wash your own dishes and help keep the farm organized.
βœ… Respect Quiet Hours – Mornings start early, so please keep noise levels low after 9:30 PM.

❌ No Drugs or Illegal Substances – We have a strict no-drug policy to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
❌ No Excessive Alcohol Consumption – Light drinking is okay in social settings, but please be responsible and respectful.

❌ No Disrespectful Behavior – Be kind and considerate to fellow volunteers, hosts, and locals. Any form of harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated.
