The experience

We serve a great made-to-order breakfast every morning from 9 to 11 am and we need a friendly, energetic person to help make sure everyone gets their food. During your shift you'll assist with taking and serving orders, cleaning dishes, and any additional help needed by the cleaning staff. Also, you occasionally may need to help with preparing breakfast on days when our cook can't make it in.

What you offer

Intermediate English

Between 20 and 35 years old

Program Details

We serve a vegetarian (or vegan) breakfast with a choice of fried eggs, omelet or french toast. Guests take a seat wherever they like around the hostel garden and common areas, so you'll need to go greet people and take their orders, provide them placemats and utensils, deliver their food, and clear dishes once meals are finished.

Activities & Shift

Breakfast is served from 9 AM - 11 AM which means you'll start your shift at 8am. Before we take our first orders we need to set up the kitchen and prepare plates and silverware for the service, as well as set out coffee and tea.

Once everyone has eaten you'll help the cook clean up the kitchen, and once you are finished with this you have the rest of the day off.
