What you offer
20 hours of help per week
Video Making:
Create, edit and publish digital videos.
Photography:
Take, edit and provide amazing photos.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
Music:
Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Program Description
The Maska Community Volunteer Program offers a unique opportunity to experience life in the Sacred Valley, Peru, while contributing to the local community.
What We Offer:
Sweat Lodges: Participate in sweat lodge ceremonies for spiritual cleansing.
Discount on Other Ceremonies: Volunteers get discounted access to other ceremonies
Spanish & Astrology Classes: I teach astrology and Spanish as part of the volunteer experience. These are daily classes, providing a deep understanding of the subjects.
How to Be a Good Neighbor & Basic Quechua Phrases: Volunteers will learn how to integrate into the community, understanding local customs and speaking basic Quechua phrases to better connect with the people.
What Volunteers Do:
Teach English: Help teach English to local children and families, improving their education and future prospects.
Spiritual Practices: Share your knowledge of yoga or other spiritual practices that resonate with you.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers will engage in a mix of tasks, including teaching English to children and community members, and leading spiritual practices like yoga or other practices that resonate with you.
Shifts are flexible. You can change your assigned tasks based on preference, and hours are adaptable to your schedule.
Tasks may vary day to day, giving you the opportunity to choose how you'd like to contribute at any given time.
Rules
We are a new community, so flexibility and openness are essential for creating a positive environment.
Volunteers should approach their tasks with a spirit of service and respect for the community.
Respect for local customs and humbleness is crucial. We value simplicity and authenticity.
Clear communication is important for organizing tasks and ensuring the wellbeing of everyone involved.
Participation in ceremonies is optional, but we encourage volunteers to be open-minded and engage in the spiritual aspects of community life when they feel comfortable.
