The experience

Join our team and experience a unique opportunity at a local accommodation near the best surf spots! We are looking for a volunteer to assist with cleaning tasks, guest services, managing common areas and also to complete a few tasks at our Surf Base - Truster. In return, we offer free accommodation (single bed in a shared room - guests also) and the chance to use surf gear from Truster Stoked Club, subject to availability.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

The volunteer will be entitled to a bed (Mixed Dorm) in the accommodation during the volunteer period.
The volunteer will be able to use the surf equipment provided by Truster Stoked Club, subject to availability and usage rules. Surf equipment will be made available for the volunteer's personal use, provided by following the maintenance and usage rules defined by the management.
The property offers an equipped kitchen, allowing the volunteers to prepare their own meals.
In addition to accommodation and use of surf equipment, the volunteer may, depending on availability, enjoy other benefits such as access to events and/or activities organized by the management.
The duration of the volunteer agreement will be agreed upon between the parties and may be reviewed based on the property’s needs and the volunteer's availability.
If the volunteer decides to end the agreement before the agreed-upon time, they must provide a minimum notice (e.g 1 week).


Activities & Shift

The volunteer will be required to follow a specific working schedule (e.g., 4-5 hours per day, 5-6 days per week), to be agreed upon with the manager or property owner.
The working hours may be adjusted according to the property’s needs and the volunteer's availability.
The volunteer will be responsible for the daily cleaning of common areas, including, but not limited to: Kitchen, Living room, Bathrooms and Outdoor areas.
The volunteer will carry out check-ins and check-outs of guests, as well as prepare rooms, following the procedures set by the property management.
The volunteer should assist with customer service, guiding guests on the property's rules and available services.


Rules

The volunteer must keep their resting area (room) in good order.
The volunteer must ensure the surf equipment is returned in the condition it was provided and report any damage immediately. The volunteer will be responsible for any damage caused to the surf equipment or other items if incorrect use or intentional damage occurs.
The volunteer must follow the property's code of conduct, respect guests, and adhere to established community rules.
Punctuality and responsibility in assigned tasks are essential for the smooth operation of the property.
