The experience

Program Details
Our off-grid farm is more than just a home—it’s a living project where we grow our own food, nurture a budding food forest, and raise chickens alongside our trusty dog. We’ve built a sustainable life with solar power for hot water and electricity, plus Starlink Wi-Fi to stay connected.
We’re opening our doors to a volunteer who’s excited to join our family, help care for our 2-year-old daughter, and experience a simpler way of living. Iv you have experience with the Montessori education its a plus.
In exchange for your time and energy, you’ll get hearty meals from our garden, a cozy place to stay, and a front-row seat to our daily rhythms—think toddler giggles, clucking hens, and the quiet beauty of nature. It’s a unique chance to step away from the hustle and dive into a hands-on, eco-friendly adventure with us!
Activities & Shift
Your main gig will be hanging out with our 2-year-old—she’s full of energy and loves exploring the farm, playing games, or listening to stories. Montessori education highly welcome. We’d ask for about 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, mostly in the mornings or afternoons depending on our schedule (we’ll work it out together!).
If you’re up for it, you can also pitch in with optional farm tasks—like collecting eggs, feeding the chickens, or giving our veggie garden some love—but the focus is definitely on keeping our little one happy and safe. Days off are yours to relax, explore the land, or even take a 4x4 trip to the village 45 minutes away. Flexibility is key, and we’re happy to chat about what works best for everyone.
Rules
We’re a laid-back crew, but a few ground rules keep things running smoothly. First, we’re a family space, so no smoking in house, drugs, or heavy drinking—just good, clean fun.
Since you’ll be with our daughter, we ask for respect, patience, and a heads-up if you’re ever unsure about anything kid-related.
Our farm’s off-grid, so we conserve resources—think short solar showers and mindful electricity use (though Starlink’s fair game!).
Pets aren’t allowed since we’ve already got our 3 dogs and chickens, and we’d prefer you keep noise low to respect the peace here. Lastly, communication’s big for us—let’s keep it open and honest so everyone feels at home.
