We had a really good time at the eco village! Nikki is a great host with so much to offer. We felt at home and the accommodation is really good. The work can vary from gardening to cleaning, painting and even help with social media, depending on the weather. The surroundings are really beautiful and the landscapes are unique. I recommend this experience if you like outside work, be prepared to get your hands dirty!

My experience at the eco village was an experience I can't imagine any other being like. Nikki was very accommodating, fed us well, although she was sometimes slightly disorganised which led to us recieving out of date milk for breakfast one day, but the problem was resolved quickly. We had lots of time to explore the local area, and Nikki even took us on trips to Pescara and an annual festival which was amazing. My only problem was that I was meant to have a private room, but ended up sharing, yet I was not told this until I was already at the experience.

Our experience staying with Nikki was overall positive. The location was absolutely beautiful, and the work was manageable and easy-going, ranging from cleaning the pool and apartment rooms to assisting with social media and a variety of personal and professional tasks. Nikki was kind enough to take us to local restaurants and other nearby spots when she had the time, which allowed us to explore the area. To be honest, I’m quite disappointed that you gave me a four, especially after you mentioned you would definitely give me a five. I took you both around, picked you up whenever you needed, and helped you with anything you asked. Considering that at your other placement, you had to arrange your own transportation and dealt with multiple issues, yet you still gave them a five, it just doesn’t seem fair.

I am thankful to Nikki for letting us come and stay at the eco village. The area and the surrounding views are stunning. The tasks are straightforward and varied. The place is a bit isolated, the closest village being 25 mins walk away. Nikki was flexible with the time worked, though we didn't fully agree on the amount we had worked. Whenever she had to go to one of her other properties she would let us come with and explore the surrounding town and she would go out of her way to get us ice cream/cake. Whenever we had disagreements we worked them out, though not as smoothly as I would have liked

I really liked the time i spent here. Nikki is a wonderful person with so many interesting ideas and experiences to share, I've also built an amazing friendship with the other volunteers :) The work I've done was, sometimes,a bit too much for what i was expecting and, for me, breakfast was not enough to the work I would be doing afterwards. The accommodations were great with an amazing view but very far away from any big city which made it a bit difficult to explore the surroundings other than nature.

I had a good time in the eco village with Nikki and the other volunteers. The work was sometimes hard and exhaustive, but other than that Nikki was a great host and was very flexible and caring. The only “problem” is that the house is very far away from everything so it makes it a little difficult to explore the near by cities, but if your looking for a more relaxed and connect with nature type of volunteer experience I would definitely recommend :)

Nuestra experiencia fue mayormente buena. El objetivo del viaje era ayudar y tener tiempo libre en un lugar tranquilo y así fue. Hubo dos momentos en los que las indicaciones no fueron transmitidas de una manera cordial sino más bien con un tono de voz elevado y eso fue clave para saber si dejar o no este comentario. Cómo en todos los lugares, a veces te topas con gente muy respetuosa y otras no tantas, si bien Nikki fue siempre amorosa, en estas dos oportunidades tuvimos que resaltar que no íbamos a permitir este tipo de trato. En lo demás, muy bien. Las comida bien, mayormente pasta.

Buen lugar si buscas desconectar de la ciudad y conectarte con la naturaleza. Me sentí cómodo estas dos semanas y pude además de conocer gente, conectarme conmigo y mi desarrollo personal (y además practicar mi inglés!). Se cumplen las horas de trabajo y los descansos acordados. Lo único que me hubiese gustado poder compartir más tiempo con mi host, pero en general bien.
