Your Role: You will be a vital part of enhancing our eco-tourism community by assisting with key tasks, including:
Apartment cleaning and preparation
Gardening and landscaping

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: € 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: To provide the best experience, we ask for a daily contribution of €10 . This fee allows us to provide full access to all cooking ingredients for your daily meals, use of our laundry facilities, and fresh towels and blankets during your stay. This ensures you can travel light and eat well without worrying about extra logistics!

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate Italian

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We’re looking for singles or couples to take on a unique role at Abruzzo Borgo, combining seeing to guests, cleaning apartments, gardening in a stunning rural setting. If you enjoy social media you can also help with this.

Our Flexible Work Schedule

We organize our tasks to ensure you have maximum free time to explore!

Schedule Snapshot: Most work is completed during the mornings, typically running from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, including a 30-minute break. Please note that times may occasionally shift based on weather or the specific needs of the community.

Work Variety is the Spice of Life! We ensure your days are interesting. You won't be stuck doing the same thing twice! Your tasks will be diverse, ranging from hands-on gardening and meticulous cleaning to organizational projects and other essential support tasks. This is the perfect opportunity if you enjoy keeping busy with new challenges daily.

Enjoy Your Free Afternoons: With your mornings dedicated to work, your afternoons are completely free! Use this time to take advantage of the many opportunities to explore the beautiful nearby villages, hiking trails, and stunning nature spots Abruzzo has to offer.

A Few Simple Rules for a Great Stay

Maintaining a respectful and tidy environment is key to a happy stay at Abruzzo Borgo:

Guest Policy: For security and privacy, no outside guests, friends, or visitors are allowed on the property.

Be Considerate: Please maintain a respectful and quiet demeanor, especially around guest areas and after 10 PM. Your cooperation helps ensure all our guests enjoy a relaxing stay.

Tidy Up: We value cleanliness! Please always clean up after yourself in all shared spaces (kitchen, common areas, etc.) immediately after use.
