My experience in this place was very pleasant, alma and Mathias are very kind and attentive, always willing to help and listen. The place is beautiful, full of animals and lovely views, I was with other volunteers at the time and we got along very well, it was a unique and good experience.

I had a brilliant time at Under Canvas - Alma and Matthias are very kind, welcoming and generous people. Some of the work was hard but incredibly rewarding and there was a good team spirit whilst doing jobs. I had a very fun time attempting to drive the tractor and the atv as well. Meeting the other volunteers from different places was lovely - we had some very fun days off exploring the island together from visiting the different beautiful towns and picturesque hiking trails to cliff jumping at the lake! Thank you for a wonderful experience - me and Arwen made some great memories here :))

Me and my girlfriend spent just under 3 weeks on Bornholm. We arrived towards the end of the season so spent 1 week cleaning tents and the rest of the time helping to pack away the camp. The work was always varied and the structure of each day was made clear. It was lovely to make friends with the other volunteers from different countries and we spent some very fun evenings using the bbq, sauna, hot tub and bonfire with them. Bornholm is absolutely stunning and we were able to use the car frequently to explore the whole island. Thank you Alma and Matthias - we had a beautiful time!

I had such a magical time staying here! Alma and Matthias, were so welcoming and fun! As a first time solo traveller i was a bit nervous, but i was instantly made to feel welcome and included by the hosts and guests, we had breakfast and lunch together everyday and after work we went on fun trips and explored the beautiful island. The balance between work and fun was great and alma and matthias made sure to prioritise our experience! We had access to a car and bikes so we could rlly make the most of the trip. i would 100% recommend staying here. thank you so much!

“Alma and Matias were amazing hosts! From the very first moment they made us feel at home, always caring about our comfort and giving us time to rest. The tents are super comfortable, and they even let us use the hot tub and the sauna, which made the experience even better. We are really happy with the time we spent here, and if we ever get the chance to come back, we definitely will

I spent two weeks here and had a lot of great fun!! In the first week, I was the only volunteer, Alma guided me to do the work. Mathias and Alma are so nice and friendly, and they helped me a lot!! The work was easy, but sometimes quite busy if there are a lot of guests. In the second week we had more volunteers join the team, and we worked and travelled together, enjoying every moment!! The most amazing moment was when you stepped out of the tent late at night in a clear sunny day, you could watch the Milky Way with your eyes!!! In general, Bornholm is a super lovely island and I love here!!

Alma is warm person, a great host and made us feel very welcome. The tasks were well organised and clear, and you can tell that she cares about the volunteers. Our tent was very comfortable and spacious. Just like the island, the farm is a stunning place, and we would 100% recommend it for people who look for a peaceful getaway and love to spend time in nature. There are amazing hiking paths and ocean spots around Bornholm. Thank you Alma and Matthias!

I had an incredible time at the farm with Alma and Mathias 🤍 They were both so welcoming and I felt at home right away! The land is beautiful and there are many lovely towns and sights in Bornholm- I would recommend visiting to anyone ☺️ The work consisted of turning over tents/bathrooms between guests staying. It can be intense if there are many guests staying but overall the work was enjoyable :) Alma and Mathias were so lovely, fun, chatty, clear, and friendly. They were very accommodating with food preferences and provided a car for us to use when possible. Highly recommend to anyone! 🥰

My brother and I stayed here for 1 month and had a great time! We are already planning on coming back:) Alma and Mathias were very warm and welcoming to us and were great company. On our free days they showed us around parts of the beautiful island. We made lots of friends hanging out with the other volunteers! We were sad to say goodbye, but look forward to visiting in the future!
