Vacancy for a physiotherapist to provide therapeutic massage

This experience was a bit disappointing for my first Worldpackers opportunity. While the host is nice and did communicate cleaning was a primary task, the opportunity was for a masseur to provide massage therapy services and there was no set up or system in place for that. No private room, no massage table and no established clientele. The expectation was for me to find my own clients and use a bed in a room across the street that host also owned. This room could be rented by other travelers at anytime. I communicated to the host that the situation was uncomfortable and unprofessional.

Moises is a super super nice person! He treats us like family, I felt like home. He cared a lot about our feelings, he hanged out with us, sometimes he even took us to the downtown …He prepared breakfast for volunteers every day, and it's very delicious!! The daily task is super easy, 1-3 hours only , he gave us enough time to enjoy the life in the hostel. So much so that I extended my stay here, I love the atmosphere here.He is not a host , he is more like friend and family member. I feel so lucky that I met him in the hostel, I had a super nice experience in the hostel. Muchas Gracias

I helped his small business and designing the website. I could work flexibly which was nice. He is so kind and helpful was way too nice sometimes. He shared breakfast which he cooks for his family which was amazing! Took the volunteers and some guest for dancing and great Taco places and also explained a lot about the culture. Totally enjoyed staying here.

Wowww, a home full of love far far away from Home. Mexican oaxacan culture best experienced side by side with our humble host. Moises was so adaptable with many possibilities of personal growth. We managed to host meditation classes, made Chi Nei Tsang, the ancient abdominal detox massage therapy work it's magic where so many local people accepted the cultural healing exchange with arms wide open. We explored great food options, ventured to learn salsa, answered all our questions patiently and always gave us the best recommendations for places to go. I shall be forever grateful.

Hours are short and work is very easy. You will have lots of time to explore around the hostel city which is 10-15 minutes walking distance from the hostel. Area is very nice and safe. The host is very hospitable and kind.

I loved staying here! I enjoyed it so much that I plan to come back in the future. The owner Mosis is so sweet and considerate. The work was easy, just worked a few hours a day and he's flexible with having days off. There's also three super cute cats in the garden and a nice terrace where you can get some sun!☀️☺️

I strongly recommend worldpackers who enjoy cultural experience, and helping local businesses come to the hostel! Moises is a very helpful host. He took me to the Pharmacy when I was sick and showed me the right medicine. We also went to the local street food and salsa bar together. Because of him, I know so much more about living in this city, and feel more confident to explore the hostel on my own! The work is not stressful, most days I just do the cleaning of the hostels, and sometimes I help him with his small business. My experience in the hostel was absolutely unforgettable!

Moises is a very good host. He really cares about the volunteers and makes sure we feel comfortable at all time, he will go beyond to make us feel good. He's a very generous person. In my case, I stayed less time than agreed because there weren't any guests at the hostel due to low season. But I still can say that the tasks are simple, Moises explains everyday what is there to do following the needs. I would recommend more to people enjoying their time quietly and not looking for parties, as it feels like a home atmosphere.
