As a Worldpacker, we expect you to bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to teamwork. You'll be actively involved in establishing and caring for tree nurseries, planting trees, organizing street cleanups, and educating schools and the public about environmental issues. Additionally, a significant aspect of your role will include participating in our crowdfunding initiatives to secure resources for the program’s activities and expansion.
Your typical day may include hands-on activities such as:
Planting and Nurturing Seedlings: Care for young trees and plants in our nurseries.
Street Cleanups: Organize and participate in community cleanup events to remove litter and beautify local areas.
Workshops and Education: Lead educational sessions for schools and community members about environmental issues and sustainability practices.
Crowdfunding Campaigns: Collaborate on creative ideas for crowdfunding initiatives, utilizing social media, designing promotional materials, and engaging with potential donors to raise awareness and funds for our mission.
To help us sustain our program, volunteers will contribute to covering the costs of accommodation and meals during their stay. This contribution ensures that we can continue our important work in the community while providing you with a supportive and enriching environment.
