I came at a time where Saviana had a permaculture course going on. Which was great because I met many different people, and learnt heaps about permaculture, spiritually, culture and language. Whilst the course was on I only did little jobs, like helping out with cooking and small errands. But once the course was over I got to do some bigger tasks, such as re exposing a path, shovelling manure for compost, levelling some land, and putting in some up cycled glass for a roof! I really enjoyed my time at Zebra farm, Saviana is an amazing woman, with a beautiful family. I hope to return one day 🫶

I had a wonderful time at Zebra Farm with Saviana. If you want to escape city life and enjoy nature and country living, especially if you're into permaculture, this is a great opportunity. The work changes daily, so you can try many things. I picked berries, built a roof, painted, cleaned, cleared land, and even taught some Japanese. It's not too demanding, but some strength and stamina help. Saviana is a bright, busy, inspiring woman. There's plenty of time to relax, and she's happy to teach Tibetan Yantra Yoga and share her permaculture knowledge.

I truly enjoyed my time at Zebra Farm. I can't say what to expect (Saviana would say expect nothing) because every day was different. Your time will not be the same as mine because tasks are done based what needs handling at that moment in time. It's a good place to learn. Saviana is quite knowledgeable on many topics. That's the only thing I can say to expect, education and maybe a game of cards if that's what you're into :)

My experience at the farm was amazing. I was a bit nervous at first, as this was my first time travelling with Worldpackers, but I felt welcomed and safe right away. I worked in the mornings, sometimes on my own, sometimes with Saviana. I helped clear paths overgrown with blackberries, we made jam from wild plums, repaired the clothesline, and started fixing an old composting toilet. When it was too hot to work, we rested. I took their dog for walks, and in the evening we played cards or pool and listened to all kinds of music. I already miss this place and can't wait to come back soon!

I was able to experience real countryside life in Italy. She has a garden with many kinds of plants. She always protect nature and loves and respects it. I was interested in her lifestyle and happy to learn from it. She tried to understand my situation and communicated well. Sometimes, it was a bit difficult to understand her style, but overall it was a good experience. (Thank you for being understanding about my schedule!) However if you want to travel somewher after working even your day off, it is really difficult without car and you can't use mobile data, so you need to rely on wifi.

No sé ni por dónde empezar a agradecer, saviana nos recibió con los brazos abiertos desde el momento en que nos vio . Al principio me costó adaptarme por qué yo no tenía ni idea de lo que era la permacultura y venia de la comodidad de la ciudad y eso hizo que los primeros días fueran algo difíciles pero la paz que se llega a experimentar en zebra farm rápidamente quebró mi caparazon y en el momento que abrí mi corazón al lugar me dió la oportunidad de conocer a todo tipo de personas y lugares increíbles dentro y fuera dé, es una experiencia que debes vivir al menos una vez en tu vida,GRACIAS

Realmente no se por donde empezar. Pero estoy muy agradecido por poder estar en la granja y no ecuantro las palabras para agradecerle a Sabiana y Ati por toda su hospitalidad y hacerme sentir como en casa . Si estas dispuesto a salir de la rutina de ciudad y quieres conectar mas con la naturaleza sin duda es una experiencia que te recomendaria y espero volver a repetirla .El trabajo ahi es una sorpresa cada dia pero muy dicertido . Tube la suerte de que durante el voluntariado llegaran mas personas a zebra y poder conoser a gente amable y poder hacer amigos de otros paises.
