The experience

Olá, a Casa permacultural Curuá é um espaço especial na qual eu mesmo pude construir com as próprias mãos. Ela fica situada numa comunidade tradicional amazônica, à 3 km do centro de Alter do Chão. A Casa é feita toda de madeira e tem um contato único com a natureza, com a comunidade e um conforto rústico. Se você tem interesse em aprender trabalhar com permacultura, principalmente com madeira, esse é o lugar.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Fluent Portuguese or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
