The experience
Join us in creating a joyful and enriching environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years! We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help us engage with 30 or so kids for a few hours each day. As a volunteer on our team, you'll assist in implementing planned activities and classes, bringing fresh energy to our programs. Interacting with children to foster their creativity. Read stories, sing songs, play games, and most importantly have fun.
What you offer
24 hours of help per week
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Intermediate English or Intermediate French
Over 20 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

11:00- 11:30 Support the kids lunch

16:00- 16:30 Free Play and Clean Up
Activities & Shift
Children are dropped off between 7 and 9 am. At 9 everyone gathers around for circle time. We sing and dance, then depending on the age the children go off for an activity or to learn English or French. At noon we break for lunch. Then nap time.
Rules
No1. Fixed schedule requirement
Volunteers must be available during our core daytime hours. We are unable to adjust the schedule to accommodate outside jobs or remote work commitments.

2. No remote work during volunteer hours
Volunteers may not work remotely or attend online meetings during assigned volunteer hours.

3. Minimum commitment
Volunteers must commit to the full agreed schedule for the duration of their stay.

4. Children-first rule
When on duty, volunteers’ primary focus must be the children and classroom activities at all times.

5. Schedule clarity before acceptance
Any schedule constraints must be disclosed and agreed upon before arrival. Changes after arrival may result in the placement ending early.

6. One-off exceptions are not guaranteed
Schedule flexibility, if offered, is rare and based on operational needs, not personal preference.

7. Phone use
Personal phone use should be minimal during volunteer hours and limited to breaks.
8. Respect for structure
This is a working childcare environment, not a hostel or co-working space.
