The experience

Are you traveling through Amsterdam and looking for a way to stay in the city without breaking the bank? Join our hostel family as a volunteer and enjoy free accommodation in one of our dorms in exchange for a few hours of help!

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

🧹 Your main responsibilities will include:
Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy 🍳
Making sure the lobby and terrace tables are clean and welcoming for guests ☕
Keeping bathrooms and showers clean, and handling occasional emergencies (yes, sometimes that means unclogging a toilet or cleaning up another type of accident — it’s part of hostel life!) 🚿🚽
🕒 Shifts are flexible:
Morning shift: 07:30 - 11:00
Evening shift: 18:00 - 22:00
