Program Details
Our days usually start around 10 AM after a good breakfast. Volunteers are divided into two teams:
🎨 Creative Team (led by Zoé): Focuses on artistic scenography—painting, crafting wooden panels, setting up chill areas, and decorating the festival site. Each year, we select a theme that shapes the entire festival's scenography. This year, we will create the set designs inspired by Ancient Egypt, with the theme 'The Mysteries of Osiris.
🛠Building Team (led by Cédric): Handles construction—setting up the stages, installing structures, building wooden furniture (bars, benches, tables), and assembling shade sails.
We have loads of fun creating a magic atmosphere for the festival, but our days are full and the work pace is steady, so expect to stay active and engaged. We take lunch on the go, prepared by a rotating team of volunteers, and gather in the evening for a well-deserved beer and dinner together. Nights are free, often spent chilling and sharing good moments.
👷‍♂️ As a member of the build team, you will assist with constructing and installing festival structures, such as stages, bar areas, seating, shade structures, and decorations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure everything align with the overall artistic vision of the festival. Basic knowledge of woodworking or DIY tasks is an advantage, but the most important thing is your can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
🏡 Accommodation
During your stay, you'll be accommodated in a house dedicated to volunteers. The ground floor features a spacious living room and a brand-new kitchen, while the upper floor offers large, shared bedrooms (2 people per room).
