My experience was great! Mike, the manager, is super chill, the other volunteers were super chill, and the work is super chill. Overall, it is a very relaxed and drama-free work environment. Everything is super organized, and you'll never question whether you're doing a good job or not because your tasks are written out in front of you. You'll have plenty of time to see Montañita, plenty of time to do any remote work, and the volunteering expectations are very clear. It really is what volunteering should be. I would've stayed longer if I could have!

Our stay at at the hostel was beyond the initial expectations we held. Montañita is known for the wild parties, beautiful beaches nearby, and the amazing surfing. the hostel separates itself form the wild side and offers a place of tranquility and kindness which in turn allowed us to remotely work efficiently, learn spanish openly, and relax. The work was relaxing and orderly with hours being respected and tasks being clear. Shout-out to Alicia & Nasly(Julio y Nancy) being so kind and helpful to us as well as Mike for being a efficient and trusting Manager.

Our experience in the hostel was amazing, it felt like a second home from beginning to end. That's why we were planning to stay for 2 weeks but ended up extending it a week more. Mike is very kind, on our first day he showed us the places around Montañita and was always available to help us at the hotel. We also got to meet, work and have fun with the other volunteers :) we recommend this volunteering 100%.

I recommend!💯 It has been the first destination of a 3 months trip with my friend and honestly, we couldnt ask for a better place to start our experience. The host made us feel comfortable, he was available if we needed something, he told us about the city (the places, the people) and everything. Other volunteers were very friendly and kind. The place itself is a big WOW! Its comfy, warm, clean and so beautiful. Also, the little city of Montañita is priceless. We really loved the community! Its a perfect place to enjoy any kind of things and make new friends! 5 stars for Mike, thanks again 😎

The hostel is a very beautiful and cozy place, the cleaning tasks are really simple, Mike is an excellent person, I never had any problems with him, unfortunately I had to leave because I did not agree with how the volunteers' schedules were managed since some volunteers They had more privileges than us, I mentioned this to the host and he will take actions to improve for future volunteers. We hope and so be it. Thanks Mike for listening to our recommendations.

Genial el hostel es un lugar de en sueño , todos con buena energía y Pía es muy atenta y comprensible, gracias a todos por el tiempo compartido y las actividades, por la comida y los espacios compartidos la verdad aprendimos mucho sobre jardinería y limpieza también surfeamos en montañita increíble lugar para descansar y todos muy amables y atentos! Esperamos poder vernos pronto ! En algún otro sitio muchas muchas gracias ☺️

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue más que increíble, Pía fue muy amable y comprensible desde el minuto uno. Las instalaciones son realmente cómodas, una cocina bellísima y un ambiente agradable y lejos del ruido de Montañita. Recomiendo este lugar para voluntariar
