I went to the farm 1 month ago and I can't express what I felt. First and foremost I made a lot of friends and learn to much things from england and from other part of the world, as well as I improve my english and my skill at the moment of comunícate with other people. Thanks to Jonathan for everything and for made me feel like in my own home, thanks for everything I could say that I had a second family for a pair of months, Unforgettable experience.

The landscape is beautiful, there is direct access to the river which I as an avid paddler love, the history of the area is fascinating, and I've gotten to learn quite a bit about all kinds of farm work, cooking, and technical knowledge.

The place is really beautiful, with lots of green space and areas to explore, and the river is great. You can improve your English here, depending on your motivation and the people you're with — Dalmiro advanced a lot by speaking with Jonathan. The living environment is good, respectful, and friendly. The only minor downside is the split schedule, which leaves less free time during the day. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and enriching experience, and we hope to come back someday. Baby the cat definitely deserves a special mention!

It's been an experience i'd recommend if you like nature and meeting people. In my case, i went to improve my english, but there were a lot of people spanish people (so check that before going). Other than that, i had a great time and the people and Jonathan were really nice.

It's a place full of nature. If you're looking to relax with a good view, this is an excellent option. Jonathan is a great host — funny and attentive to your needs. It's also a good place to learn about teamwork and responsibility. A lot depends on the people you're with, too. It's a place to stay curious, explore the surroundings, and ask questions about how to do things. Jonathan won't hesitate to help you. He's someone you can learn a lot from, if you know how to take advantage of the opportunity.

My stay at the farm was a very memorable and unique experience, where I met amazing travelers and and I truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. The location was beautiful and I had the chance to learn new skills through a variety of tasks (construction, animal care, cooking, housekeeping, etc). The bedrooms and bathrooms for the volunteers could use some improvements due to the building's age. A little attention to these areas would make the stay even more comfortable :) Overall, this was a great experience - thank you Jonathan!

My experience on the farm was very enriching because I learned a lot of things. For example, I learned to eat healthier, and being in contact with nature makes you feel mentally calmer. I also practiced English with my colleagues, and most importantly, I take with me great friendships that I made. Thank you very much, Jonathan, for allowing me to get to know your farm.

My time at the farm was great and I learned a lot of handy new skills. Jonathan is a great teacher and host. The tasks vary in difficulty and if you are not comfortable doing a certain thing there is always something else to do. The meals were really great. Everyday 2 people cook lunch for everyone which we all eat together. And it's a great way to experience different cultures by eating. Overall I had a really great time and I'm sure I will find myself back in Devon in the future.
