The experience

We are a german- italian family that built up an old farm in Tuscany, Montebamboli. After traveling many years, we decided to settle and create an own project hosting travelers, friends and volunteers from all over the world.
We carry about different kind of animals, we grow our own vegetables, we do olive oil and many other agricultural products.
We love the italian life style, that means, we love good food and nice company!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent Italian

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We usually ask to help us 2/3 hours in the morning and 2/3 hours in the afternoon.
Everyday around 1 PM we have lunch together and enjoy our italian siesta (Lunch break).
According with us, you can always take free time or free days.

Rules

We try to use the cell phone as less as possible, to spent conscious time/ quality time together. We want to avoid people around that are continuously attached to the phone (social media, gaming etc).
You can use your phone in your private spaces, in your private time etc
